The daily observation of the general situation of the nude, measurement of subcutaneous tumor size and weight of nude mice, drawing tumor growth and animal average weight time graph. After the end of the experiment, nude mice were sacrificed, measuring the volume of transplanted into nude mice, known as tumor weight calculated the rate of tumor weight inhibition, HE staining of tumor morphological characteristics. Immunohistochemical method detection groups transplant in tumor cyclooxygenase -2 (COX-2) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) protein expression; CD34 marker of vascular endothelial cells in tumor microvessel density (MVD) was measured. Tumor weight were: control group (1.822 ± 0.24) g, cardamom group (0.987 ± 0.20) g ,5-FU group (0.662 ± 0.12) g, (0.414 ± 0.09) g of the combined group. Cardamom extract group ,5-FU group can be seen, the average tumor weight of the combined group, tumor volume compared to the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05).
