Application and Research on Proiect Cost Management in SZ Company

Project cost management, which cost control is as the core problem, is one of core research directions in the field of project management. Since the21st century, project management has formed a set of mature models and theories after more than half a century of exploration and practice. And also generate kinds of useful tools according to the actual needs. With the theory promotes and develops, project manages have been clear and paid more attention on uncertain factors in the management.Integrated project has a large number in the small and medium-sized enterprises in our country. But project delays and project terminates due to budget overruns always happens. Most of theory research, technology and experience focus on engineering and construction industry while less in the integration project. It is of great significance how to explore suitable project model for China’s small and medium-sized software integrated enterprise on project cost control and management.With research and analysis the materials and papers on cost forecast estimating and budget control, allies with the research on the characteristic of the integration project cost management. Summarize and systemize the key factor on cost management. Analysis the case on the cost management and drive the improvement methods on cost estimate and control.First, analyzes the present situation of the SZ company’s project management, summarize the problems and pain point. And raise two model for project cost management.The research results including the following items:1. Give the competence definition to the different staff in the project.Set up the cost estimate model with weight based on the key competence factor.Try to build up a model for cost estimated which can meet the two goal:enough qualified deliverables and less cost burning.2. Analysis the characteristics of integrated project in SZ company and set up the updated EVM model based on separate the cost between CPM and non-CPM. The model is more accurate for project performance evaluation and reduce the decision error in such project characteristics.The research of the improved EVM as below:●Classify the project cost;●Analysis the feature of the integrated project;●Set up the model based on distinguish different cost classification and project implementation path.
