A Case Study on Training and Management of WD Department Store

In recent years, the department store industry has been growing dramatically in China. Shopping malls are mushrooming, and providing employment opportunities objectively for the community. However, the department store industry is a service industry after all, employees are an important part of the department store, and the level of the service of employees is closely related to the operation of the department store, even an important indicator of the performance. Many department stores are currently facing a lot of customers’ complaints about the poor service quality, which leads to the decline of the turnover. One of the solutions to solve this problem is staff training, so how to train their staff is beginning to attract the attention of the department store operators.Since January2008the state promulgated the new "Labor Contract Law", the traditional talent employment relationship and employment agreement have had a subversive change. Companies no longer provide their employees with tenure of employment relationship, employees would no longer be the same company desperately to retire, and this inherent way of employment has become history, a new market which includes two-way choice and the free flow of talent has been emerging, previously effective corporate human resource management has also been broken.The author demonstrates the actual issues of WD Store in human resource management and employee training cases, combined with the training needs analysis theory, career planning theory. ISD training system model, Gold Stein model, staff training mode, and a large number of reading and usage of relevant literature, analyzes the problems of WD Store in training and human resource development in a scientific way. Thement and corporate training of WD Store through the analysis:the establishment of relationships between corporate human resource management and long-term development strategies, while according to the actual needs of the company and employees to establish an e author makes the following recommendations with regard to human resource manage effective training system and implementation plans, and a training team with excellent knowledge and incentive mechanism must be in place, only a series of work successfully completed and organically combined, the staff training mechanism of WD Store will be improved. This finally gets recommendations for improvement of WD Store human resource management and staff training, and the results of this study are expected to provide some reference to peers and relevant enterprises.
