Because of the intricacies of structure, instability of environment, managers pursuinglean supply chain and neglecting risk management, and so on, supply chain is having beenmore and more subject to affected by all kinds of risks. There is direct or indirect associationbetween enterprises, led to the prevalence of risk conduction. Once a risk occurs, it willaccumulate, amplification, through a specific transmission mechanism, cause irreversibledamage and huge loss to the supply chain. So, it’s significant in practice to managing andcontrolling supply chain risk. If we can start to study the supply chain risk from thetransmission mechanism, it may be an effective way to resist and prevent supply chain risk.On the one hand,it can be predicted and clear the existing corporate risk, on the other hand,itcan cut off t channels of risk transmission, reduce and control the extent and scope ofactivities. This paper analyzed and summarized some rules about risk conduction deepen theunderstanding of supply chain risk conduction.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background of the thesis and main basis forselection, and reviews literatures and main theory relevant to content of this paper, whichprovides a basis for this article.Secondly, the paper elaborates relevant theoretical knowledge of supply chain risk andconduction effect of risk. By summing up the definition of supply chain risk, characteristicsof supply chain risk are described, and key elements of risk transmission are introduced,besides, characteristics and patterns of risk transmission are analyzed.Then the paper provides a risk identification method which is based on risk conductioneffect, and gives a measurement method of risk, quantifies the risk.Thirdly, This paper analyzes coupling properties of the supply chain risk factors in theconduction of the process, expresses the variation of a number of risk factors in theconduction process after coupling with a quantitative methods, and the impact of enterprisesand supply chain.Lastly, this paper describes how to deal with and control risk when the crisis comes fromrisk factors, enterprises and entire network aspect. To optimize and improve the whole supplychain system by optimizing the supply chain and decoupling of the risk fators.
