Youth Tourists are active participates of tourism and are starting to dominate more and more market share of tourism market, and become an important component of tourism market, with the fast development of cross-bounder tourism. Due to the fact that if tourists come from different cultural background, they may differ in tourism decision-making behaviors, it is of great significance to clear out cause and effects of cultural background and tourists’ decision-making. Therefore the author took the advantage of as a one-year international exchange student in France to search for the related materials and did the questionnaire both for Chinese and French youth tourists about the travelers’travel motivation, information gathering, destination choice, and other related factors that may impact tourism. The author also combined the research did by scholars both in China and overseas on the fields of the process of traveler’s decision-making process, factors influencing decision-making, cross-culture tourism decision-making as well as the behaviors of youth tourists to focus on the comparative study of Chinese and French youth tourists decision-making behaviors. This paper is mainly divided by three parts, chapter3cultural differences and youth tourists’ decision-making differences, chapter4information gathering and analyzing, and chapter5the comparative study of decision-making behaviors of Chinese and French youth tourists. In the end, on the basis of the summary of the differences of Chinese and French youth tourists’ decision-making behaviors, the author comes up with the separate suggestions of developing Chinese and French youth tourists market.
