Poetry is the essence of language, imagery is the soul of poetry. Carefully constructed image of it is a major feature of classical Chinese poetry. Interpretation of poetry, translation, reproduction of its charm, understanding and delivery of the image is the key. But the language in the form of the conversion, the cultural environment changes, the survival of the original culture imagery \The constraints of the reader's cognitive context. Cognitive Context is an important basic concepts of cognitive linguistics, cognitive context from the point of view of mental perception, language understanding and to really solve the internal process of information processing to bring new breakthroughs. Context is not entirely objective existence, it is closely related with the external environment, that the speaker or the listener, cognitive ability and experience, has played an important role in the context of the process of constructing the three. In this paper, from the perspective of cognitive context, and analyzes the impact of three cognitive factors involved in the cognitive context role in the reproduction of the Tang Dynasty imagery, and this process of translation: Tang Dynasty readers of cognitive Contextual constraints Tang Dynasty poet image creation; cognitive context of the Tang Dynasty of constraints translator; the cognitive context constraints translators of the English readers. Cognitive context an important role to play in the reproduction of the poetic image to explore the culture, deepen understanding and enhance creativity. At the same time, the authors believe that the the different translators differences in cognitive abilities of the same thing, is the root cause of the same image multiple translations. This article helps to understand the nature of the translation process, an objective evaluation of the translated text. This paper is divided into five parts: The first part introduces the reason for this article topics, purpose, and its important significance. The second part of the review of past cognitive Context and Translation Studies, as well as the outlook for future development. And from the concept, characteristics, formation, and its impact factors detailed description of cognitive context, and the important role that cognitive context closely with the translation and its understanding and translation. Part III Intro imagery of the Tang Dynasty, from the definition of culture to the characteristics and composition of the image, and pointed out the important role of the image in the Tang Dynasty. Fourth part is the core of the full text. First, the poetic image reproduction process of cognitive context constraints. Then explore the the cognitive context an important role in the poetic image reproduction. And by the Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei Shan bid farewell to two translations of a poem Image Translation comparative study highlight the cognitive context the importance of the imagery understanding and image reproduction. The fifth section explains the significance and inadequacies.
