Thomas ? Hardy is a well-known British novelist and poet . Although he has always thought of the poet , but he was mainly due to novel writing fame, especially Wessex series of novels . In this paper , the authors focus on three main Hardy the Wessex novels - \Remote towns and villages as isolated , Wessex not only has beautiful natural scenery , but also because of its default social and historical background for the novel and extremely important . Three novel structural arrangements exquisite , the plot twists and turns . Three novels , Wessex experienced a number of social change and development , showing a different face . In accordance with the chronological order of the publication of the novel , the papers through a rough life experience of main farmers characters in the novel and the fate of each novel is a concentrated expression of which at some stage in the process of industrialization of Wessex .
