With China’s rapid economic development, people used to fast-paced needs in aconvenient, fast, economic, and set a variety of functions in an integrated space and enjoy the life and work efficiently, so the commercial complexes have come into being, and once set off a wave of commercial development and construction of the complex wave. Traditional commercial complex design, the project itself due to the lack of function, location, size, nature and so a full investigation, analysis, research, and thus the lack of systematic and scientific, to put into operation from the project has been positioned behind the people’s consumption concepts, and in the fierce market competition and gradually lost its commercial position. In recent years, has become a large commercial complex commercial real estate developers favored model, not only in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other cities of the rapid development of commercial complex, is that some second and third tier cities the construction of commercial complex as the urban development goals. Began to rise in the real estate sector is a saying: "Who owns the commercial complex will come to have the city’s future.In this paper, examples of projects, from the early stage of the project business planning, product positioning start, combined with architectural theory, architectural design, analyze a variety of commercial complex elements, so that readers can clearly understand the business complex of functional components, the architects more can be rational, scientifically designed commercial complex construction, will help developers rational analysis, rational development, commercial complex building accurate positioning.This article is divided into four parts:The first part is the first chapter,introduces the research background, research objectives and content, research methods and thesis framework. Through literature research and analysis of existing domestic shopping malls, the author proposed the design of commercial square should first conduct a large number of business research, statistics, clearly the project’s location, make the design more in line with future business operations, improve business overall value. The second part is the second chapter, through the analysis of the project in which the location and the surrounding commercial buildings, offices, apartments and other trend research, systems analysis project around commercial buildings, offices, apartments of the forms, a clear positioning and commercial project functional requirements.The third part is Chapter III, Chapter IV, is the focus of this chapter, through commercial, office, apartment preliminary research, the analysis surrounding the project, compared to green center project, for example, focuses on complex commercial business location, overall planning, functional layout, format composition, spatial relationships and structures, equipment and other related issues, analyze business complex planning and design and print layout functions, an example of the analysis, the future use of commercial buildings to meet the requirements and operate under the premise of long-term optimize the business complex building designs.Part IV Chapter V, is a case study and reflection, with green center project, for example, from the standpoint of architectural design commercial complex design proposals and issues to be addressed and analyzed and compared, and summarized.
