The Jianli reach maintenance Meandering Reach for the history of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River Waterway focus , after the impoundment of the Three Gorges Project is the sandy shallows reaches one of the earliest affected , in order to provide strong technical implementation of the project to the river waterway project support the evolution of the river , the influencing factors and hinders navigation features to analyze , predict the Three Gorges after the construction of the evolution of trends , strategies and measures proposed channel regulation has important significance . This paper combines Western Transportation Construction of the Ministry of Science and Technology project \The plane gather relevant research results at home and abroad and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River bend branching channel morphology , hydrology and sediment characteristics and riverbed evolution characteristics of extensive research on the basis of Jianli riverbed historical evolution and recent evolution of the system analysis THREE GORGES PROJECT Jianli reach , depth of thinking and the basis of the the Jianli reach the shallows causes and its influencing factors and to take measures of governance , reveals the the Jianli reach the evolution process follows the cyclical laws, namely the right braided freshmen - cross-section to expand - thalweg line the left - flow path bending growth - right branch decline and fall - right branch regeneration ; explore the impact of the main branch braided conversion factors riverbed boundary conditions runoff and sediment conditions , the impact of the upstream river regime and the impact of human activities ; pointed out that the the Jianli reach fairway main problem is \generally maintained stable at the time the right Han Jianli reach the river situation , local development will continue to unfavorable direction . Finally, Jianli reach remediation should seize the current favorable opportunity and engineering measures to stabilize the the existing beach slot situation and the mainstream flow path , so as to reach the scales of planning to determine the fairway . The results of this study has been initially applied to the actual engineering design which has achieved good economic and social benefits .
