WOSA / XFS is based on the WOSA the expansion of financial services (Window Open System Architecture / Extensions for Financial Services) , in the WOSA software architecture based on some modifications for the global financial industry . Early financial electronic equipment is no standard to follow , financial equipment manufacturers of software and hardware by the vendor , both bundled together . Such equipment had to the original manufacturer for maintenance , other manufacturers can not take over , leading to poor maintainability . WOSA / XFS - based ATM device driver through a unified interface , hardware and software decoupling both seamless connection . The ATM standardization , the use of after drivers based on WOSA / XFS architecture , software , hardware independent maintenance upgrade , an effective solution to the original problem difficult to maintain . XFS protocol background , content , application status , in-depth description of the XFS command and scheduling mechanism , then use the C implementation based on a set of XFS standard ATM device driver system . The article first introduces the overall structure of the drive system , various modules of this system are described . Layered implementation of the system , including the following layers: interface layer ( used to implement the ATM control procedures call interface ) platform for the core layer ( responsible for implementing part of the the XFS agreement has nothing to do with the part type , such as command scheduling , logging , etc.) , equipment core layer ( used to implement and equipment category , and specific hardware functions ) , equipment SP layer (for specific hardware features ) . The drive system is layered to achieve only equipment SP layer and hardware . Need to develop different types of hardware , as long as the device SP layers can be achieved , which can quickly develop new ATM device driver . ATM core devices out of money movement , for example , describes the development of a specific device driver . The drive system is in full compliance with the the XFS specification for the XFS specification the ATM control procedures call . Using the drive any one of the hardware modules can be installed together , together with the driving in the third ATM , will be able to run correctly without any rectification , so that the maintainability of the ATM significantly improved .
