Certain simplifications and assumptions made ??on the basis of analysis of the automotive aerodynamic characteristics of a certain type of car , to establish the physical and mathematical model , given a description of the auto flow field around a three-dimensional turbulent flow the incompressible NS equations , and select a suitable turbulence model ; discretization of the governing equations using finite volume method . On the basis of the assumptions and simplifications , the use of CATIA software 3D car model for numerical simulation .
