In this thesis, a smart card - based digital signature system This system is a combination of an application of the smart card and Public Key Infrastructure PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) , which uses PKI public key theory and technology , combined with the security middleware technology and good safety performance and ease of use the smart card as a private key and digital certificate storage media , data, digital signature and signed inspection function . The system provides four main security features : confidentiality , integrity , authentication , non-repudiation . The digital signature system based on PKI asymmetric encryption algorithms , message digests , digital signatures , digital certificates and PKI infrastructure technology for the realization of the system functions . The topic designed and implemented a smart card - based digital signature system developed a simple system of electronic medical records , doctor and patient electronic medical records , digital signatures and signed inspection . Verify the feasibility of the design of the digital signature system . Electronic medical records system is developed based on B / S structure the WEB.NET environment . The system calls the security middleware ActiveX controls and COM components operating private key and digital certificate in smart card electronic medical records electronic signature . Online electronic medical records provided by the Web server IIS5.1 WWW service . The communication between the client and server applications using SSL Secure Sockets Layer protocol , to ensure the security and integrity of the data transmission . System back-end database using SQL Server 2000. With the improvement of people 's awareness of network security , digital signature system based on smart cards is expected to be widely used in e-commerce, e-government .
