Impact of Soil and Growth Properties in Transplanted Rice and Rapeseed under No-tillage and Multiple Cropping

As a new cultivated technique that can save work,labour and high efficiency, zero-tillage has drawed more and more attention.As a result,the no-tillage planting area enlarged continually.So as to ascertain physical and chemical properties of soil,growth pattern and environmental effect,the impact of effective panicle number,productive tiller, dry matter accumulation,leaf area index,root character as well as yield formation at the whole growth stage were studied under no-tillage and transplanted rice in paddy field in 2007-2008 Through experiment in laboratory.The results are:Under zero-tillage and transplanted rice(NTTR),the bulk density increased,otherwise the total porosity and capillary moisture capacity declined,so physical properties improved in each soil layer.The soil organic matter and the content of total N were also added,but the content of total P and total K decreased in different soil layer.Compared with conventional tillage and transplanted rice(CTTR),the tillering growed fast in earlier peried,and the seeding numbers of per plant was 9.35%higer than that of CTTR.While, under zero-tillage and transplanted rice,the effective panicle number,productive tiller were higher in 2007.The maximum tillers,plant height,effective panicle number and productive tiller were lower than those of CTTR in 2008.At maximum tillering stage,booting stage and maturity stage,the dry matter accumulation were higher than those of CTTR in 2007. Except the full heading stage,the dry matter accumulation at the other three stages were13.92%,14.62%,11.40%lower than those of CTTR in 2008,respectively.In contrasted to CTTR,the effective leaf area lasted longer,and the leaf area index,ageing index were higher,so the rice leaf could keep vitality in late growth phase.While the root oxidation ability was higher at every stage but the maximum tillering stage under NTTR.The seed setting rate,1000-grain weight and the oretical yield were up than those of CTTR under NTTR in 2007,Beside the spikelet number perpanicle,every treatment of NTTR decreased contrastly in 2008.Otherwise,The pod number per plant,1000-grain weight,theoretical yield and harvest yield under non-tillage and transplanting rapeseed were higher than those of conventional tillage and transplanting rapeseed,separately,and the difference was significant.In the investigation about the income of NTTR and CTTR,through calculating the saving cost and yield addition,we concluded that included the payment of plowing soil, labour,seed and pesticide,the income could increase7404.0 yuan/hm~2,7944.0yuan/hm~2 in average by droping NTTR.
