Intelligent electric actuators are widely used in modern industrial control,which are an indispensable parts in automatic control systems. The intelligent electric actuators act on swith control and flow adjustment to the valve,thus its stability and accuracy are enhanced. This can assure the performance of entire control systems and improve the quality of the product process.This paper analyses the design principle and control mode of traditional electric actuators,points out that electric actuators at different stages have certain shortcomings, mainly displayed through low reliability, poor stability, low positioning accuracy, bad security performance, many mechanical drive device and so on. According to principle of existing electric actuator, the overall plan of intelligent electric actuators is designed and the hardware structure of the control systems is given fully taking into account the possible problem and all konds of factors affecting stability and accuracy. System structure of intelligence electric operators based on the LPC2292 single-chip computer is introduced in detail with an emphasis on field bus, Hall sensor’s use and the switching power supply principle. The design idea and specific implementation way are explained from two aspects of hardware and software. Simultaneously the closed-loop control problem of electric operators is studied, some controls on movement speed, positioning accuracy,flexible switch as well as electrical machinery torque of valves are realized by means of the built-in frequency changer, the proportional control algorithm imitating the human understanding and field bus control technology, and also simulation and the experimental results show that the above method can satisfy system’s precision and stable requirement, at the same time it has several adventages such as quick movement, perfect protection and convenient connection into computer networking. This is verified to be effective and feasible.Furthermore, this paper summarizes some problems occurred in design and debug process, solution and considerations. Debug operation demonstrates that intelligent electric actuators not only have high precision and stable performance,but also follow the safe,reliable, advanced and easy to use rules.
