In the power industry , the distributed control system (DCS) has been widely used, its simulation training system has been steadily progressing and development. In the micro-computer technology, automatic control technology, data communication technology and the rapid development of CRT technology , in order to build large power plants advanced and complete automation and information technology platform , give full play to advantages of digital simulation system , DCS full range of process simulation is to \The key technology of virtual simulation is to make real the DCS DCS and virtual I / O interface data , configuration logic , control algorithms and function modules such correspondence. Anhui Pingwei 600MW power plant simulator project that is based on the virtual Foxboro I / A Series distributed control system under the premise of developing and developed . In this paper, this project , elaborated in a virtual DCS technology support, including the development of data communications and database technologies including a number of advanced simulation capabilities. Main contents are : the use of database technology preparation mathematical models and virtual data communication interface between DCS ; achieve real and virtual DCS DCS data communication between ; development based on SIS (Supervisory Information System) information systems and simulation system interconnection achieved relatively real and simulated data of database system ; and the development of virtual DCS fault test management system. In this paper, the theory and engineering experiments explored to achieve these technical feasibility of advanced simulation capabilities , and gives detailed design and technical implementation path . Make full use of highly realistic virtual DCS technology and openness to achieve a simulation system and real- time control systems interconnected to complete the data analysis , model validation and parameter optimization, advanced simulation capabilities , expanding the application of virtual DCS control system scope to improve the quality of their application level and simulation .
