Information hiding is a new technology combined with theory and technology of many other subjects. It is a branch of information security connected with cryptology closely, and information hiding based on digital image is a hotspot of information hiding.In this paper, the basic theory of image information hiding is analyzed in detail. And two hiding algorithm connected with color weight are described. On the base of analysis of the advantage and disadvantage between the two algorithms and feature of HVS, the cover image preprocess method used image color statistics was proposed, the bit number in the hiding phrase can be derived through this method. An improved adaptive color image sharing hiding algorithm based on (t,n) threshold was proposed, it based on cover image preprocessing, and referred to key sharing principle of cryptology and application of Lagrange Interpolating Polynomial in image hiding. It hides a secret image inside a set of color images. It allows a group of n members to share the secret image such that any t or more members can cooperatively reconstruct the secret image. The algorithm adjustments hiding capacity adaptively according to different color statistics feature such that each stego image accords with HVS and enhances hiding security.The research is a foreland subject of correlative research domain, it has important theory significance and application foreground. The algorithm and experiment result in this paper can be referred to the further research of adaptive image hiding.
