Mobile IPv6 as a fusion of different access network at the IP layer wireless technology will be widely used in the next generation of wireless communication . It has the advantages of scalability , reliability and security , is considered to be one of the core technology for the next generation of wireless communication network . Mobile IPv6 also there are a lot of shortcomings in the vertical handover node speed is not considered to result in a ping-pong effect , packet loss rate and network delay ; , did not consider user QoS requirements in the network selection to make the choice of network does not comply with the wishes of the user . This limits the wide application of Mobile IPv6 technology . This article focused on how to reduce the ping-pong effect , packet loss and network delay , and QoS requirements will take into account the network selection study . First, mobile IPv6 basic principles and key technical studies comparing the two switching mode switching level ; then , based on systematic analysis of the switching threshold vertical handover , detailed vertical handover algorithm parameters of decision-making . Finally, the definition of network selection , detailed evaluation function network selection algorithm , and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and gray correlation (GRC) , a comprehensive study and comparison . In this paper, based on analysis of the above parameters decision algorithms and network selection algorithm proposed improved algorithm . Vertical handoff , adaptive vertical handover algorithm based on the speed according to the speed of movement of the mobile node , the stable periodic adaptive adjustment switching threshold . Simulation results show that the improved algorithm and compared to the original algorithm reduces unnecessary switching times, packet loss , and switching delay . Network selection , the premise of a user QoS , network selection algorithm combined with AHP and GRC . Different emphasis on network parameters based on user parameters quantify weighted by the gray correlation method combined with the network conditions , the optimal network to get the premise of the will of the user . Simulation results show that the the AHP and GRC combined network selection algorithm has better sensitivity than the original algorithm and real-time .
