Research of QoS Optimized and Effective Routing Protocol in Wireless Sensor Network

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a frontier research field which is formed by a high degree of multi-disciplinary integration. In recent years, the networking theory and practical techniques are becoming a study focus with the emergence of many related research achievements. As an important research object of WSN, the QoS performance and energy consume are both the parameter sets which can evaluate the performance of the networking theory and techniques. In this thesis, the routing protocols are designed to get a comprehensive optimization of network performance. The main research achievements are as follows:The model routing protocols for wireless sensor network are researched. Regarding to the main problems of wireless sensor network, the network structure and the role on energy effective and QOS improved mechanism of each protocol layer are analyzed. Through the analyse of classification and design principle, the roles of reliable routing protocols and clustering routing protocols are researched to improve the communication quality and prolong the network lifetime.A node cooperation based multi-path transmission algorithm is proposed. In order to resolve the unreliability of wireless link in WSN, the corresponding scenarios of reliable data transmission are analyzed. Furthermore, by the selection of optimal intermediate node and a constructed strategy of relaying nodes-cluster, the algorithm enables the end-to-end data transmission of WSN to be more reliable and accurate, and improves the global QoS performance of WSN significantly. According to the experiment, the node cooperation based multi-path transmission algorithm could effectively guarantee the successful transportation rate and reduce the energy consumption.A Qos aware routing protocol for wireless sensor network based on low-energy adaptive clustering hierarchy protocol is proposed to meet the Qos requirement and minimize the energy consumption. Regarding to the defects of LEACH protocol on energy consummation and communication quality in uneven node distribution eviroments, the cluster heads selection opminization mechanism is adopt to improve the whole performance of the network. The protocol employs probabilistic analyses to fix the optimum measuring range. The cluster heads are selected according to the threshold value of node density in the measuring area. The routing protocol of the network is formed in the clustering structure. According to the comparation experiment, the improved protocol could effectively optimize the communication quality and prolong the lifetime of the network as the change of nodes distribution.
