Equipment management information system based on distributed three-tier application development and research

With the gradual deepening of the enterprise information construction, promote the informationization of equipment management is becoming more and more important. Especially as China Petrochemical which is large, long-cycle production enterprise, the direct and indirect losses due to inadequate level of equipment management are very considerable. The informationization of equipment management is a pillar to promote enterprises innovation and to improve the overall competitiveness. As the important part of business management, equipment management information should make full use of informationization management and give the whole level of equipment management a integration and restructuring, so as to make sure the production can carry out safty and improve enterprise’s level of technological equipment and economic benefits. With the popularity of computer and network technology, developing and applying of equipment management information system for integrated management has been an effective means to strengthen equipment management, and also an important manifestation of the level of modern integrated management of equipment.This thesis which is based on the analysis of petrochemical enterprise equipment management system application situation and business process introduces distributed multi-layer application system structure and basic principle, and also explains advantages of equipment management information system which is on the basis of three-layer C/S structure. After that, the thesis makes requirement analysis and overall design in order to clear about the system development aim and the design of whole process and the main modules. Based on detailed analysis and design, the demand of the system is unified code realization, mainly introduced how to server and client by CORBA technology to realize the system of each main functional modules. Finally, the system has made a comprehensive summary of the development in the future, and puts forward the system needs to be improved and the perfect place.
