With the rapid development of the distributed control system, the distributed control system I/O card a processing signal speed and precision, technical requirements more and more is also high. It is very important that the module on Supmax800D system has the speed and precision, with low cost, low consumption and high safety features。If applied to the industrial control systems, can greatly reduce the cost and difficulty of maintenance system, and so on it has important theoretical and practical value.This paper introduces the system cards SUPMAX800D research background and significance, but also introduced SUPMAX800D system development, and field bus technology and HART communication protocols are outlined. HART communication card device information is mainly collected, and collected real-time data transmission to the host computer. Therefore, from the HART communication card to achieve functional characteristics, to determine the overall design of the HART card program, using the three-channel plate structure, the middle layer of the CPU channel plate, the other two floor is common I/O channel plate. Then details the system hardware design, software design, and focus on the HART communication card and host computer communication technology. The hardware design section, select the STC12C5A32S2 microcontroller as the main processor chip, A5191HRT as a modem chip, a detailed description of the HART communication card microcontroller module and modem module and other auxiliary module circuit design, and gives the DIN rail connection device program. Software gives the main part of the design process, and the block diagram of each module, and introduced the 485 data processing functions, such as serial port interrupt function block programming. Finally, the HART communication cards made PC software design, gives the overall structure PC software, and describes its main module to send data, read data modules and configure the device information module, given the specific configuration.This last communication on HART communication card function tests, mainly HART communication card and host computer communication and HART communication card and the next crew of communication were tested, the results of experimental data to achieve the design requirements.
