With continuous development of international and home markets, the demands on product quality become higher and higher. So pursuing high-quality products and low-cost consumes is the first-line guarantee for corporation to be invincible position in furious market competition. The paper detailedly analysis the locale craftwork, control requirements and process characteristic of electroslag furnace prodection process. The design scheme of electroslag furnace prodection process system adopts advanced automation control technique in order to achieve real-time measurement to process variables, real-time supervise on craftwork flow and real-time control on process parameters. This dissertation has carried on the following research.(1) In combination with the technology characteristic of electroslag furnace prodection process, the integrated automation system for electroslag furnace prodection process is proposed, which is composed of device control system and process control system. Based on Siemens technology, the hardware configuration, network topology and control functions of electroslag furnace prodection process integrated automation system are introduced in detail.(2) The software design of electroslag furnace prodection process integrated automation system uses modularization frame ideology. The lower computer PLC program is used to collect the locale data, filter noise and feed back control. The upper computer adopts configuration software WINCC 6.0 to carry out software integration in order to provide intuitionist and friendly human-machine interface.(3) By analyzing the characteristics of ESR process, a intelligent control strategy is proposed based on ESR mathematical model. It adopts diagonal matrix method as the decoupling controller of mail loops of ESR process. The ant colony algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of PID controller of the decoupled SISO object. The simulation research show that the model and the proposed control method are effective.The application of the integrated automation system of electroslag furnace prodection process improves the stability, reliability and real-time quality of the electroslag furnace prodection process. At the same time, it provides an implement method to improve technology operation and management ability for controlling complex industry process.
