At present, in many developed countries in the world, activated sludge reaction dynamics equation has been applied widely to being applied to design, optimization and monitoring of wastewater treatment. Compare on international advanced level, the research and application of activated sludge reaction dynamics equation of our country is very poor. According to statistical, more than 80% wastewater treatment plants are using activated sludge process. The research of applying mathematical model to activated sludge process has fatal research significance.Continuous-flow integrated biological reactor (CIBR) is a model of wastewater treatment that is a new kind of reactor, it has the advantages of simple structure, investment saving, flexibility of control and so on. Its feature is particular significant for simultaneous nitrogen and phosphorus removal. In recent years, with the stricter discharge criterion on various pollution indexs in wastewater treatment, the research of CIBR system has increased progressively. Higher requirements of the control system of CIBR system are put forward.In this study, widely literature were studied and kinetics models that are most widely used are discussed, Monod kinetics model was chosen for CIBR system. Monod activated sludge reaction dynamics equation was used for analysis of CIBR system for the first time. The reaction rules of COD removal of CIBR system were emphatically analyzed. Theoretical analysis was carried out on computer too. In the process of analysis, typical parameters of CIBR system were used. After comprehensive analysis, the verification of experimental data and the simulation results was carried out and the result is close. The law of COD removal in CIBR system was deeply revealed. At the same time the kinetic analysis of nitrogen removal and phosphorus removal in CIBR system were studied in this article. The research laid a theoretical foundation for optimization, control and monitoring of CIBR system.
