Start from the purpose and significance of the development switchgear management system to facilitate the management of substation switchgear maintenance work proposed the concept of the management system of the switchgear , ABB medium voltage switchgear type , type of connection devices , a variety of smart protection unit on the basis of a comprehensive analysis , the overall design of the switchgear management system software and hardware , topology . Based on this article focuses on communication subsystem design and development process of the switchgear management system . First analyzes the element to be connected and its performance in the management system of the switchgear , and puts forward the topology of the system software architecture is based on the topological structure out of the system , thus introducing the different software requirements and system of communication between the different application subsystem functions . Design communication subsystem of the system architecture , combined with specific equipment detailed discussion of the underlying device communication protocol SPA MODBUS system with a higher level system communication protocol IEC60870-5-101 and the system within the software modules , custom communication protocols ASCP developed communication subsystem Finally, from a different point of view of the management system of the switchgear test to verify the correctness and reliability of the communication subsystem design .
