Effect of N and K Combined Application on Aphid-resistance and Some Biochemical Substance Content in Wheat

This pot experiment with 3×3 fully balanced design of N and K was used to study the impact of N and K fertilizer combined application on wheat Sitobion miscanthi (Takahashi) host selectivity, the life parameters ,1000 grains weight loss rate and content of some biochemical substance in wheat. This study was to discuss the impact of N and K fertilizer combined application on the resistance of wheat,and the correlativity between wheat aphid-resistance and biochemical substance and to provide basis for making scientific fertilization scheme and integrated pest management scheme.1. From N0 to N2, the parameters such as the host selectivity, net fecundity R0, intrinsic rate rm of aphid,1000 grains weight loss rate showed increased trend in both seedling and heading stages, the effect of N fertilizer rates on these indices reached 1% significant level and aphid generations duration showed decreased trend; From K0 to K2,the parameters such as host selectivity, net fecundity R0, intrinsic rate rm of aphid showed first decreased and then increased trend in both seedling and heading stages.The effect of K fertilizer rates on these parameters reached 1% significant level, but the effect of K rates on the wheat aphid generation duration didn’t reach significant level; The effect of the two factors of N and K fertilizer combined application on net fecundity R0 and intrinsic rate rm of aphid reached 5% and 1% significant level respectively, but not in the parameters of host selectivity, intrinsic rate rm of aphid and 1000 grains weight loss rate. At the diffrent level of K, as the N blent in, the host selectivity, net fecundity R0, intrinsic rate rm of aphid,1000 grains weight loss rate showed increased trend;At the diffrent level of N, as the K blent in, the host selectivity, net fecundity R0, intrinsic rate rm of aphid,1000 grains weight loss rate showed decreased trend.The N0K1 was best on the resistance of wheat.2. With augment of level of N,the solubility sugar,solubility protein and free amino acid content showed increased trend in both seedling and heading stages.The effect of N fertilizer rates on these parameters reached 5% significant level; With augment of level of K,solubility sugar,solubility protein and free amino acid content showed first decreased and then increased trend in both seedling and heading stages. The effect of K fertilizer rates on these parameters reached 5% significant level; The effect of the two factors of N and K fertilizer combined application on solubility sugar and free amino acid content reached 5% significant level,but not on solubility protein. At the diffrent level of K, as the N blent in, the solubility sugar ,solubility protein and free amino acid content showed increased trend in both seedling and heading stages;At the diffrent level of N, as the K blent in, the trend of chang of solubility protein and free amino acid content heading stages was all increased in both seedling and heading stages; The trend of chang of solubility sugar was decremental. The N2K1 was the highest on the solubility protein and free amino acid content. The N2K0 was the highest on the solubility sugar content.3. From N0 to N2, the tannin, general flavone, indole alkaloid, totle phenol and lignin content showed decreased trend in both seedling and heading stages. The effect of N fertilizer rates on these parameters reached 5% significant level; From K0 to K2, tannin, general flavone, indole alkaloid, totle phenol and lignin content showed first increased and then decreased trend in both seedling and heading stages. The effect of K fertilizer rates on these parameters reached 5% significant level; The effect of the two factors N and K fertilizer combined application on these parameters reached 5% significant level; At the diffrent level of K, as the N blent in, he tannin, general flavone, indole alkaloid, totle phenol and lignin content showed decreased trend in both seedling and heading stages. At the diffrent level of N, as the K blent in, the trend of chang of the tannin, general flavone, indole alkaloid, totle phenol and lignin content was all increased in both seedling and heading stages. The N0K1 was the highest on these parameters content.4. The correlativity was positive between the trend of change of solubility sugar content and number/plant,the intrinsic rate,net fecundity,and the correlativity reached 5% significant level respectively.But nigative on the generations duration and the correlativity does not reached 5% significant level;This shows that increase of solubility sugar content was favorable for host selectivity and growth of aphid;The correlativity between the free amino acid , solubility protein content and intrinsic was positive ,and reached 5% significant level in heading stages.But 5% significant level was not on number/plant and net fecundity in seeding or heading stages. The correlativity between the free amino acid,solubility protein content and the generations duration was nigative and reached 5% significant level. 5. The correlativity was nigative between the trend of change of the indole alkaloid, totle phenol, lignin content and number/plant,intrinsic rate , net fecundity, correlativity,and the correlativity reached 5% significant level respectively in seeding stages,but positive on the generations duration,and reached 5% significant level; the result showed the increase of tannin, general flavone, indole alkaloid, totle phenol, lignin content was favorable on the resistance of wheat; The correlativity was nigative between the trend of change of the tannin, general flavone, indole alkaloid, totle phenol,lignin content and number/plant,intrinsic rate, net fecunditycorrelativity,and the correlativity reached 5% significant level respectively in heading stages,but on the generations duration,and reached 5% significant level,but positive on the generations duration,and reached 5% significant level.This shows that the relationship between secondary metabolites and aphid-resistance is different when index and stage is different.
