The Relationship between the Children’s Space Environment Design and the Aesthetic Ability Training

This thesis starts with discussing the importance of training the aesthetic ability for children, analyzes the children’s physical and psychological characteristics and the aesthetic psychology of children in different ages, points out that the environment is playing an important part in cultivating and improving the children’s aesthetic ability. And then analyzes the beginning point of the interior design to improve the children’s ability of aesthetic and the interior environment based on improving the aesthetic ability of 0-14 year old children. In accordance with the different ages of children, the thesis separately studied four kinds of typical child interior environment such as children room, kindergarten, primary school, children’s playground from the function, the constitute a functional space and the design to improve the aesthetic capabilities, emphasize again that the aesthetic function is another important design considerations such as safety, comfort, interest and aesthetics, which means the children’s space environment design is of great significance to improve the aesthetic ability of children. The final chapter of the thesis introduces three excellent designs of the space environment for children at home and abroad. From the aesthetic point of view, the thesis analyzes their unique, valuable design and design methodology in hope of to stimulate more design originality, extend the mind of designers, offer the reference for creating more excellent and meaningful space environment design for children, and attract more attention for the designs of children.The full text contains about 68,000 words,126 images and 4 tables.
