Bilingual Teaching of Chemistry in the Study of Autonomous Learning

The cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability is one of the basic requirements of science curriculum standards. In the high school chemistry bilingual teaching practice, and actively promote the " autonomous learning" approach to learning, can not only develop the students’ international perspectives, to improve students’ English level between students and emotional exchanges, but also actively guide the students in the bilingual classroom and after-school mutual aid, common improve, give full play to the initiative of students, improve students’ learning ability.In collecting, collating relevant literature and data base, the author combines the features of chemistry, bilingual teaching and autonomous learning teaching theory, in order to carry out the students’ autonomous learning as the main form of chemistry bilingual teaching practice, and through questionnaires, interviews and other forms of summary and reflection. The chemistry bilingual teaching practice on the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability are discussed, focused on the bilingual teaching of chemistry in the guidance of autonomous learning strategies, such as stimulating students’ learning motivation, guiding the students to choose learning contents, as well as the guidance of learning strategies, and the bilingual teaching of chemistry in implementing autonomous learning points for correlation analysis.
