In recent years, concrete-filled steel tubular(CFST) arch bridge has been deeply developed in our country’s bridge construction, for its own merits, such as long-span, high strength, appropriate plasticity, light in weight, easy for constructing, modern design ,etc. And CFST arch bridge without wind bracing also has good prospect for its largo vision in moderate span bridge. Based on major bridge of Han-jiang bridge, this thesis research anti-seismic performance of CFST arch bridge without wind bracing, and the study include:(1)Creating the FEM model of the whole bridge with considering pile-soil interaction by using MIDAS/Civil; The bridge’s anti-seismic performance is analyzed by time history analysis, including its dynamical characteristic and seismic response in X-direction、Y-direction、X+Y-direction, and some conclusions are drawn;(2)Some CFST arch bridges without wind bracing with some different arch ribs are analyzed on anti-seismic performance, and reasonable layout type of arch rib is fixed;(3)Investigating trend of change of arch rib on internal force and displacement under different rigidity of slanting steel tube and getting reasonable range of rigidity, these conclusions will work on bridge design.
