At present, in accordance with the new mechanism and new mode, more than 300 independent colleges has founded in our country. This trend has become an important part of higher education. The development of independent colleges have their own characteristics, in salary management, it can not completely copy the other ordinary Colleges and Universities’mode, the compensation system should be adapted to the characteristics of independent college itself. Therefore, how to establish a corresponding salary system has become the independent college teacher management’s important task.In this paper, in order to the Sichuan Institute of CG art teachers’ salary system for diagnosis and research object, designed the teachers’ salary satisfaction questionnaires, collected a lot of the college teachers’ salary system present situation information. Through the survey, we found the current teachers’ salary system’s existing problems, applied the compensation management theory to analyze and find out the causes of problems, in the meantime, combined with the art independent college ’s own characteristics and the actual situation, reconstruct the independent college teachers’ salary system. Although this system still has many deficiencies, but still can provide a certain reference for the current independent college teachers’ salary management.
