The Safe and stable operation of the power grid is the lifeline of China Southern Power Grid. Browser-server architecture is the improvements of the client-server structure, with the rise of network technology, the most popular network software architecture。It is gradually replacing the client / server architecture,Become the First choice of the Network software developer. Browser-server architecture with the Features of strong distribute, easy maintenance , simple development and low cost. At present, the browser / server architecture and client / server architecture has become the main form of computer applications, and servers which play an indispensable role, so the server is also known as "E basic elements of the era."This paper developed a production Management Information System for Power supply enterprises. Combines the network technology and database technology, based on the Common Information Model, Established a unified, standardized equipment classification and coding system, covering the power transmission, scheduling and safety monitoring, and other core businesses of power; with B / S structure mode structure in the J2EE platform, to enhance and extend the system functions. The application of the system makes the production management more scientific and standardized.To ensure that the entire management information system has excellent performance, perfect function and better services in electricity production site, in the entire system development, performance test is organized. By analyzing the test results, the optimization suggestions is provided for the improvement, the MIS has improved and optimized in the test run of the power production.This system is applied in Jie Yang Power Supply Bureau with a good commend. The system is improved through the practice and plays a very good role in power system security.
