Experimental teaching is one important part of teaching in many subjects, especially science and engineering. Experimental teaching is more intuitive, practical and innovative compared with theoretical teaching. With the development of information technology, network teaching has become the new teaching methods. How to realize experimental of teaching become a new subject in network platform. The concept of virtual experiments emerged. With the rapid development of network technology, promote the study of virtual experiment gradually from the theoretical to the practical application. The emergence of virtual teaching laboratory solves the traditional test by time, place, and status of equipment constraints. Offer users with a platform independent experiment.We try to design and development of the network teaching platform, based on modern information technology and the foundation of modern educational theory. And on this basis, research in traditional chemistry experiment problems, proposed virtual chemistry experiment design ideas, and try to make the design and development practices.First of all, introduce the development of virtual experiments in the domestic and international situation and the meaning and characteristics of virtual experiments. Secondly, the theoretical part of teaching chemistry experiment, focuses on the traditional teaching of the relevant circumstances chemistry experiment, we analyzed the constructivist theory of teaching chemistry experiment under the guidance of the design and the lack of traditional chemistry experiment. Propose a new form of chemistry experiment to explore.Design and Realization based on part of the instructional interaction of network theory, network-based collaborative learning theory, instructional design theory, we developed a set of independent design and high efficiency, ease of use, practicality in one of the network teaching platform. Better meet the needs of specific courses, and the system more convenient upgrades and extensions, has good flexibility and practicality.In the analysis of the theoretical basis of the virtual experiment, the development context, based on related technologies, developed a virtual chemistry experiment related to the teaching of design examples. Using Flash software simulation experiment, and were determined through the teaching practice and evaluation. So that students learn rational and efficient use of network learning, to improve student learning in a network environment.
