Analysis and Countermeasure of Extracurricular Reading for High School Students

Extracurricular reading is an important supplement curricular reading . Curricular reading space and range are very limited , and extracurricular reading expand student knowledge , improve students' cognitive abilities , students humanities important way . However, for a long time , due to the quick success of language teaching , we tend to only attach importance to curricular reading teaching , guidance while ignoring extracurricular reading . I believe that in the deepening of education reform , in order to further enhance students' humanistic qualities , we have the need to re- examine the high school students in extracurricular reading activities . Of three parts of this thesis , the concrete structure is as follows : Part I: through surveys , analysis of the current high school students extracurricular reading activities status quo . The problems mainly in the following aspects : 1 . Whether students , parents , teachers , school , extracurricular reading emphasis is very low , students ' extracurricular reading habits is difficult to develop . Understanding of the purpose of student extracurricular reading too utilitarian , the read method is not appropriate . 3 high school students extracurricular interest in reading tendencies worrying classic literature has been left out in the cold . On this basis , the author analyzed the reasons for the formation of these ills . Part II: through a combination of theory and practice , to re - recognize the strategic significance of extracurricular reading . On three main areas : 1 . Strengthen the extracurricular reading beneficial to cultivate students' thinking ability . 2 . Strengthen extracurricular reading beneficial to improve students' writing skills . 3 . Strengthen extracurricular reading beneficial to students ' healthy personality formation . Part III : according to the status of the first part of the analysis , combined with specific teaching practice , put forward five suggestions to improve high school students extracurricular reading activities : 1 . Activities create an atmosphere , to stimulate students' interest in reading . 2 classic . Grasp this opportunity to recommend to enrich students' reading resources . 3 .
