In the contemporary field of wireless communications , the power amplifier is essential component of the communications system to its linearity and efficiency indicators and other indicators have a very high demand , broadband power amplifier is strengthened band flatness and other indicators requirements. The project goal is to design a working band in the 100MHz-450MHz, 150 -watt output power broadband amplifier, since the required output power amplifier , frequency band, band gain fluctuation is small , high linearity , so its difficult to design large . For this reason, the author uses in the theoretical design of broadband matching , power combining techniques ; well-designed circuit in practice , and with the EDA software simulation , and ultimately achieve the desired targets. This paper introduces the working principle of the power amplifier , power amplifier and power amplifier matching classification method , followed by detailed discussions focused on broadband matching technology , especially the transmission line transformer principle and applications, this is because the transmission line transformer In this issue plays an important character. Then EDA simulation for solid state power amplifier , the gain has been good results . The use of advanced PCB layout tool designed to change the amplifier PCB layout , and use Autocad design amplifier enclosure. In the design layout and the shell taking into account the process of the amplifier heat issues , the use of copper as a heat sink . Finally , spelled out the amplifier debugging, debugging encountered a series of problems , detailing the cause of the problem and the solution process . Finally, the tests for the overall amplifier , the power amplifier is given small signal and large signal test results test tone and two-tone test result.
