The Application Research of Mobile Learning in the University Students’ Study

With the modern high technology rapid development and change of the people’s idea, the mobile phone had been widely used. According to the report of MIIT, the numbers of mobile phone owners are 940 million until 2011 august in China. In the mean while, all kinds of portable, easy-to-use, high performance of mobile terminal come up, the services and capacity of the mobile network expand. It is being more and more people knew and accepted that the mobile learning is a new approach to learning, and it also become hot spot for research and discussion of the educational circles at home and abroad.The study based on 500 samples of the three universities in the Jiangxi province, to survey the present situation of college students’mobile learning from mobile learning equipment, mobile learning resources, mobile learning behavior three aspects, it is found that the mobile learning equipment is popular in the college student, most of the college student have the condition for mobile learning, most of the college student agree on the mobile learning and the desire to the mobile learning is strong, the mobile learning had become one of the students favorite assisted learning modes, but the college students’mobile learning enthusiasm and effect don’t match with the current rapid development of mobile devices, many students only take mobile phone as a communication and entertainment tool on the whole. The mobile communication has become a most rapid and convenient carrier of the new knowledge and concept, the states of the Chinese colleges’mobile learning not only restricts their pursuit of knowledge and gain, but also affect their vision, the open mind and the overall quality development. The reasons are that college students’ cognition and attitude to the mobile learning is biased; school’s inadequate understanding to the positive role of the mobile learning and lack of effective guidance; the mobile learning resource provider lack of attention to the mobile learning resource and development is insufficient, mobile learning resource is deficient.In order to make Chinese college students’mobile learning to keep up with the pace of the time, the study suggests that, the college student should improve the cognition and attitudes, learning strategy and learning behavior, that is to take the right cognition to the superiority of the mobile learning, take the right mobile learning manner, take the right mobile learning strategies, and give full play to the subjective initiative, promote the internalization of knowledge; the school should strengthen the guidance of the college students’mobile learning, try to use many kinds of mobile learning application strategy; the mobile learning resource providers and mobile learning equipment supplier should increase the mobile learning resource and equipment development and promotion.
