The current applied scheduling control system was developed by Chengdu Water Plant Co. decades ago, based on the RSView32 monitoring platform (Rockwell Automation Plant Company). Due to the restrain of the scheduling staff employment, there is an increasing demand for stable automatic scheduling control system. In order to increase the reliability of the production system, reduce the dependency on the only hardware/software supplier (Rockwell per se), and fulfill the data processing and analysis prerequisites from the technical staff, we developed a new web-based scheduling monitoring system, using computer-assisted and automation technologies.This thesis describes the design concept of the system, the specific features and implementation methods. The encountered difficulties and corresponding solutions are discussed as well. The system is designed in B/S model. By leveraging RSSQL and OPC, it uses SQL Server as data sources(the old system directly use PLC as data sources) which decouples the software and hardware. The new system is not restricted to running on hardwares from Rockwell company.The system makes the unique verification code available only to authorized users through security component. This mechanism ensures the security of production control in LAN. The new system can seamlessly run with old system through conflict management module. The adoption of "three redundant" collection and transmission technology for critical control signals improves the reliability.The system also provides data analyse functions based on user’s requirements. As systems continues to be improved and integrated with more functions, it will become a production control and management platform.
