With the rapid development of satellite communication technology, ,the range of applications of satellite communications become more widely.For example, vessels in the sea , comprehensive coverage of wireless communication can’t achieve because the sea is too vast, so there are a lot of the communications blackout.The satellite communications’coverage area is very large, so can improve this phenomenon.Ship-borne satellite Earth Station can achieve a lot of business, such as voice services, audio and video transmission services, television receiver business.The Ship-borne satellite Earth Station include antenna,system,tracking system,transmit system,receive system ,business and control system.This paper proposes one overall design scheme on the Ship-borne satellite earth station control system’s hardware and the software of various branches of modules ,and then develops software system on the Keil uvision3 platform by using C language。In the process of design for control system ,solved the issues of communication protocol, keyboard control, LCD display and serial reliability. Implements the functions of manual and automatic tracking, acquiring the real-time data , displaying the status information of antenna. When the device malfunctions, the display will give warning and shows the fault information .However,due to the affect of magnetic field and temperature ,result the positioningaccuracy of electronic compass become lower.At the end of the article put forward a algorithm based on differential GPS, improvemed this phenomenon, and make the system run more stable and reliable.DGPS has ben appalied to the Ship-bome satellite station system and achieved good results, solve the problem of low positioning accuracy of the electronic compass.This technology has been test successful and put into practical application.
