Special music education has a pivotal role as an important part of special education, physical and psychological rehabilitation of children with special needs, the arts, culture and potential development, and thus more and more people's recognition and attention. But with respect to the special music education in some foreign countries, our special music education started late, weak economic foundation, the development is slow. So, how can explore new ways for a suitable rapid development of children with special needs music education? How to play the role of music education in the education of children with special needs rehabilitation, education and compensatory education? Article will focus on these two topics of Xi'an special music education status quo investigation to identify shortcomings and causes of Xi'an special music education, and tried to put forward a number of recommendations to improve this situation and the proposed solution, in order to promote the development of special children's music education theory and practice. Study through questionnaires, interviews, action research, special education institutions, teachers, students, schools and parents aspects status quo in music education data collection, and combined with the hands of the author and literature combing Xi'an special music education in a comprehensive analysis on the height of the theory and practice, and thus draw the following conclusions: First, the education authority is not enough emphasis on special education, resulting in many key aspects of disjointed a serious impediment to the rapid development of special education. Second, special music education teachers is a serious lack of the existing teacher professionalism worrying. The music teaching Thus, lack of specific, purposeful blindness and randomness, teaching content, teaching organization form exists. Third, most parents lack awareness of the importance of music disciplines in the promotion of special children's physical and psychological recovery, interest in culture and potential development, resulting in passive state the child's music learning, is not conducive to create a musical environment to form a harmonious family. On the basis of the analysis of the above situation, the author of the special music education in Xi'an some thinking and exploration. First, update the concept of the education authorities, the lack of concrete actions to change the special music education; Second, strengthen the construction of special music education teacher, a professional music teacher and scientific research consciousness; once again, strengthening of Music Therapy, psychological supporting role in a special music education, medicine, art, science and other disciplines. Meanwhile, the article fifth chapter through case report presents the results of the action research. Papers last prospect for the future development of the special music education.
