Heart is one of the most important organs for a person, cardiovascular disease is one of the three major diseases of mankind, so it will be very meaningful to research its physiology and pathology. In order to diagnose and cure various kinds of heart disease, and develop new heart disease medicine in a better and safer way, people are trying to simulate the activity of human heart with computer all the while. As the performance of computer increasing exponentially, and great progress in mathematical modeling of complicated heart movement (for example, the Na ion exchange model), the concept of "virtual heart" becomes a reality gradually. This means a big deal for the research the physiology and pathology of human heart. The modeling of single cell is the first part of heart modeling. There are various kinds of problems in simulation platforms at present, such as insufficiency in function expression, not universal, and so on. There is no a maturity voltage clamp experiment platform yet.In this dissertation, firstly, cardiac cell electrophysiological model is introduced. The objective is to develop a visualized simulation platform for voltage clamp experiments. The functions of this platform are: simulating the environment of voltage clamp experiments, such as persistent voltages, ion concentrations in the extracellular and intracellular spaces, hormones, and blockers; to import single cardiac models described by the XML language (mentioned by above), these models can be parsed and assembled as a“vital”virtual cell automatically; to make all kinds of voltage clamp“experiments”to a“vital”virtual cell (achieved at step ii) on graphic computer simulation platform; to revise or rebuild automatically a single cardiac cell model with“experiments”data. The model is still described in the XML language (mentioned by above) and can be exported as a .xml file for other applications; the experiment results are automatically made and exported, such as experiments data, statistical data and current or voltage figures. This platform would offer a simple, direct and efficient tool for the research of cell model.
