The Empirical and Simulation Study of New Energy Vehicle Technology Diffusion from Perspective of Cluster

Energy depletion, environmental pollution and other issues become increasingly prominent, so new energy vehicles are welcomed by its significant advantage of energy-saving and pro-environment, becoming the major trends in automotive industry. The effective diffusion of new energy vehicle technology is affected by the environment, company conduct, technology and other aspects, and the cluster as the ideal model of regional economic development provides good conditions for the development and diffusion of new technology with its superiority of low-cost and high collaboration. So the study of new energy vehicle technology diffusion from perspective of cluster is very significant.This paper mainly discusses the impact of cluster environment on company innovation conduct, the interaction between cluster environment and technology level, and the effect of new energy vehicles technology level and company innovation conduct to the diffusion performance, using the methods of empirical and simulation studies. We establish the theoretical model of the empirical study and propose hypotheses on the base of existing literature, combining with the characteristics of new energy vehicle technology. Through analysis of 227 questionnaires with SPSS and AMOS software, the results showed that the cluster environment has positive effects on company innovation conduct, and has a significant interaction with technology level; the technology level and company innovation conduct has a significant positive impact on the diffusion performance of new energy vehicles technology.On the basis of results in empirical research, this paper studies the diffusion of new energy vehicle technology with the method of system dynamics modeling, simulates the basic structure, loop, typical of dynamic behavior and dynamic nature of the technology diffusion, analyzes the dynamic relationship between the new energy vehicle technology diffusion and affecting factors, and makes a number of advices about management strategies and decision-making in new energy vehicle technology diffusion based on this.
