Chaos is an emerging science , because of its sensitivity to initial conditions , the behavior of seemingly random , continuous broadband power spectrum and other features , it has many potential applications , the chaos has become a hot topic . Chaotic communication is one of the many promising applications . Chaotic communication system can be divided into two categories : coherent communication and non - coherent communication . Coherent communication in bandwidth utilization , data transmission rate , the noise performance and confidentiality are superior to non - coherent communication , so a non - coherent communication theoretically performance as coherent communication . However , because it does not require a chaotic signal synchronization, no generated in the receiving end and transmitting end of chaotic reference signal , it is only non-coherent detection technique based on the correlation integrator , by chaotic mapping the statistical characteristics inherent to the judgment signal , the circuit simple , easy to implement, so to give priority to the poor transmission conditions . Firstly, a preliminary discussion of chaos theory , and then introduced a basic chaotic coherent communication technology : Chaos keying (Chaos Shift Keying) and several non - coherent detection techniques for chaotic incoherent communication : maximum likelihood method duplicate France , Dynamical Programming (DP) algorithm , and wherein the DP algorithm performance is discussed in detail . On this basis , according to the characteristics of the DP algorithm proposed an inhibitory symbol error method and apply it to the chaotic multi- user communication .
