In this thesis, select the Horqin the typical District, one of --- Kezuohouqi research samples, the use of the study area in 1989, 2000, LANDSAT-5 TM image 1989-93 2007 2007 temperature and precipitation and windy days for data source, the application of remote sensing, geographic information systems and statistics, analysis of the study area desertification status quo and dynamic change, and explore the relationship between desertification change and natural conditions. Participatory rural appraisal way (PRA), based on the basic information of the farm household interviews, as well as demographic, socio-economic statistics, both from a qualitative and quantitative aspects of the study area desertified land change differences caused by human driving force comparative study and select the appropriate human driving force factor using principal component analysis depth analysis of the the land desertification changes caused by human driving force factor, reached the following conclusions: 1, nearly 20 years Kezuohouqi desertification land spatial and temporal changes situation desertified land change time distribution pattern is: 1989 to 2007, including severe desertified land, moderately desertified land decreased by a 225km2 3013 km2, the proportion of its total land area decreased by 1.19% and 26.25%; mild desertified land and not desertified land increased by 1819 km2, 1419 km2, its proportion of the total land area increased by 15.84% and 12.36%, showing a clear reversal of trend. Changes in the spatial distribution pattern of desertified land: the serious desertification areas are mainly concentrated in the flag in northwest dune land, animal husbandry, the Forests and south the Qianqiu Austin forestry pastoral areas; mild desertification distributed more widely, almost throughout the whole region. Nearly 20 years, a slight decrease of mainly distributed in the east along the Liao plain agricultural areas, less strongly reduce the area, and only scattered. 2, natural background analysis of the past 20 years Kezuohouqi the 1980s, precipitation more low temperatures, windy days is relatively small. 1990s relative to the 1980s, precipitation decreased, while the temperature is elevated, windy days reached a peak in 1991 to 1995, a slight decline from 1996 to 2000, but only slightly. Human-driven factors affecting land desertification change the total population, per capita GDP, the net income of farmers and herdsmen, arable land, the total power of agricultural machinery and national policy. Which national policy is more prominent role, the analysis of the results shows that whenever national policy factors directly determine the direction of change of land desertification, unreasonable policies led directly to the blind expansion of arable land, grassland reduce and Saudi; reasonable policy of desertification has been reversed. Socio-economic, rural farmers and cultural qualities of the land desertification change is also very significant. In the traditional business model, the lack of support of advanced technology, cleared for farming grass inevitably lead to indiscriminate felling of woodland; culture, improving the quality as well as the of rural technology advances, farmers will be able to get rid of the vicious cycle of financial gain simply by extending the cultivated land, national policies and laws relating to the protection of arable land, and to improve the environment in order to smooth implementation. Horqin sandy land ecological restoration and reconstruction countermeasures to strengthen the propaganda and supervision, management efforts to control population growth, improve the quality of the population, to stop the indiscriminate deforestation, the effective control of the number of animals, to strengthen the rural and pastoral areas of infrastructure construction.
