The left-handed materials (LHMs) is a dielectric constant ? , And permeability ? Negative artificial electromagnetic materials , so the left-handed materials with singular characteristics different from traditional medium . This material from the 2000 experiment by artificial preparation , caused widespread concern in the scientific community . Currently, mainly based on two theories to prepare a left-handed materials , a metal rod (Rods) and an array structure of ring resonators (SRRs) , second left-handed transmission line structure . In this paper, the theoretical basis of both left-handed materials , some of the peculiar nature of left-handed materials , analysis of the basic theory of the left - handed transmission line equivalent circuit model . Paper analyzes the composite the handedness structure ( CRLH ) and inverse opening the basic principle of the resonator (CSRR) and the equivalent circuit model, based on theoretical analysis, we propose using the left and right hand to the nature of the composite transmission line , is etched on the substrate, the rectangular inverse opening resonator or circular inverse method to construct the opening of the resonator microwave filter . Software Ansoft HFSS simulation comparing the performance of the pros and cons , while optimizing the size , re-use printed circuit board , making a kind of filter . After comparison of experimental and simulation results , the band pass band of such a filter is relatively wide , compared with the conventional band -pass filter , under the same performance geometry can be relatively small , simple structure , easy processing , low cost , can be applied to the microwave circuit .
