The Development and Utilization of Chinese Curriculum Resources Based on Local Culture in Maoming

Curriculum of our country middle and primary school has been adopted central and united way for a long time, so it lacks school and teachers’ participation. Therefore, a lot of meaningful curriculum resources are not brought in the term of curriculum resources, and their educational functions are not known well and utilized. It is a very common phenomenon that variety of valuable curriculum resources in and out of schools are standing idle, making them wasted. It suggested that the research about development and utilization of curriculum resources is very weak. The new round national basic educational curriculum reform began with reforming the disadvantage of traditional educational teaching, and its value orientation is "people-oriented, individuality development, lifelong education". Under this conception, the obvious change of new curriculum reform is to expand and integrate curriculum resources. The development and utilization of the Chinese curriculum resources have been specially and clearly prescribed in the Curriculum Criterion of Chinese Teaching in Ordinary High School.The development and utilization of Chinese curriculum resources based on local culture in Maoming is a practical research under this background. Based on the local culture in Maoming, the research aims to find a way to effectively combine local culture and the development and utilization of Chinese curriculum resources. On the one hand, from the angle of curriculum resources, this thesis tries to know the unique value of curriculum resources of local culture in Maoming to arouse people’s attention to the development and utilization of curriculum resources of local culture. Through some teaching examples, this thesis tries to solve the effective problem about how to develop and utilize Chinese curriculum resource and pus forward some strategies that are suitable for everyday teaching. This thesis consists of five parts:Introduction, Chapter Two (introducing the concepts and significance of curriculum and its development), Chapter Three (stating the concepts of local culture, and its development and utilization), Chapter Four (listing the types of curriculum resources of Maoming local culture), Chapter Five (examples about development and utilization Chinese curriculum resources of Maoming local culture) and Chapter Six(conclusion).
