The Experiment and Explore of Using Multimedia to Improve the Junior Middle School Language Teaching

The 21 century, Shanghai has been into the imformation age. The multimedia technology is continuously developed. People’s life can no longer be without the multimedia technology---no matter what age or identity, actively or passively, we are accepting multimedia technology. As a junior middle school teacher, I also felt the participation of multimedia technology in everyday teaching. In the classroom, we will see the projection screen on the top of the traditional blackboard. We will also find the slide projector hidden in the traditional platform. However, to be an educator, when I’m enjoying the convenient, colorful teaching experience which brings by the multimedia technology, I have to consider how to give students the same experience at the same time. It will make teaching effectiveness better. This paper arises at the historic moment. I finally got the conclusions by analisis the junior middle school course standard, teaching material and the students’ psychological. I also make surveys and comparative experiments to prove the conclusions. My conclusions are:1) When teaching the texts of defferent genres, themes and length, the multimedia technology can improve the interests of learning. The multimedia technology can also help to provide more time in writing teaching and expand learning.
