Theory research comes from practiced needs and calls. Communication Theory has important theoretical significance to ideological and political education, it is the theoretical basis and research starting point of ideological and political education.Similarly, ideological and political education also has a significant impact on Marxist Theory of Association, which enriched and developed the communication theory in practice, and it provides implementation method for science, rationality, harmonious relations.Ideological and Political Education is in an open work environment, and is to do the people’s work,it starts at the dealings between education and the educated, and it discovers people by mobilizing the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity to enhance the effectiveness of interaction of different groups. If there is no education and the educated communication practice, there is also no ideological and political education, communication theory can be said to have deep links to ideological and political education. Ideological and political education emphasis too much on the dominant position of the educator and the educated subject to status in the past, it will become a one-sided education, and will become a suppression to human development, prone to self-centered ideology. This paper introduces the communication theory, by describing the concept of interaction, nature and its relationship with the ideological and political education, and by analyzing the defects which is arising because of scanty exchanges on ideological and political education, the purpose is to indicate that ideological and political education should draw on communication theory to improve their own effectiveness.
