In our country, along with the widening reform of market economy and the intensified integration of globe economy, more and more corporations had been pushed onto the market, accepting the baptism of the competive waves from both here and abroad. In a full speeding running, competive society full of chanllenge and risk, an enterprise has to take advantage of its competitive advantage and continuously adjust its developing strategies to catch up the changes in the market, in order to master its own destiny. Shengan Company is the flagship corporation in infrastructure construction industry in our province. This paper demonstrated a detailed case study of Shengan Company’s consummated developing strategy under the new social environment.This case concluded on Shengan Company’s growth path, performed a systematic analysis on the firm’s operation model using relevant theories in strategic management, and applied PEST in a comprehensive analysis of the political, economical, social and technological environments of Shengan Company. The paper also applied SWOT for a detailed analysis of Shengan’s advantage, disadvantage and its opportunities and threats in the market environment, and made corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. This paper provided Shengan with an efficient and scientific way to gain nuclear competitiveness and lasting competitive advantage in a market competition.
