The construction of modern agriculture must rely on high-quality intellectual professionals. The National Agricultural various agricultural universities have trained more than 160 million college graduates from 1949, making great contributions to promotion of agricultural science and technology and improving agricultural production capacity. As student employment situation is grim, much attention is being paid to the problem of employment for agricultural college students. On the one hand the problem of employment for agricultural college students is in real terms the rational allocation of human resources issues in national agricultural science and technology, which effects implementation of "enhancing agriculture through science and education" strategy; On the other hand, the quality of employment for agricultural college students directly impacts on the social reputation of agricultural institutions of higher learning and sustainable development. Therefore, to enhance employability and competitiveness of agricultural college students, and to promote agricultural graduates "get employed" and "get good employment" is not only the market economy and the inevitable demand for higher education, but also the urgent need for modern agricultural development. This paper analyzes Agriculture-majored students’needs of employment services, careers current situations, and concept of the effecting factors through statistical analysis and empirical analysis, and from the perspective of students, proposes policy recommendations to improve China’s agricultural college students’employment service system.This article is divided into six chapters, including the three aspects:(1) Present situation of agricultural college students to career and empirical analysis of influence factorsBy case investigation, we understand the career evolution of college students majoring in agriculture, and find the current general expectation of employment to enhance agricultural college students, there is "not-loving agriculture" phenomenon, of employment guidance in colleges and universities to provide more targeted service needs more urgent. Article analysis of the present situation of agricultural college students to career and on this basis, introducing SEM (structural equation modeling) into the research, separating the individual, family, school and community, and four more on the concept of agricultural college students to careers for the empirical analysis of influence factors and relevant conclusions. We draw the conclusion that the students’career outlook is always changing with Strong spirit of The Times. So individual factor and school factor are main reasons influencing the career outlook of agricultural college students.(2) Analysis of the demand for agricultural college students employment servicesWith the survey data of agricultural college students, we design questionnaires and make statistical analysis from seven aspects. So we have a detailed understanding of agricultural college students on the University’s employment guidance services needs, for optimizing the perfect basis for employment service system in agricultural colleges.(3) Countermeasures of improving employment guidance services for agricultural universitiesCombined with former conclusion, the research proposes measures of improving employment guidance in colleges and universities from the perspective of students’needs. First of all, we should strengthen the building of their organization and sound system of teachers, second we should enrich the forms of employment guidance, innovation activities carried out and finally to complete the protection measures to enhance guidance services.
