The Design and Research about Memorial Space Display in the Cantral and Western Inner Mongolia

In recent years, the rapid economic development of the central and western regions of Inner Mongolia, sprung up in various areas of business class space. As a memorial bearing the national geographical historical and cultural figures and events space but still maintain the old look. I examine the central and western regions of Inner Mongolia, Genghis Khan Mausoleum, Zhaojun Museum Ulanhu Memorial on larger memorial space. In addition to the expansion of Zhaojun Museum in 2008, the rest of the monumental space of the 1980s and 1990s built or expanded. Since that time in our country, especially in the region, the basic design is in its infancy, to space planning, color design, lighting, atmosphere; visitors to the exhibit booth, text description, and system identification, have not meet increasingly high function and spiritual and aesthetic needs. Geographical terms, as has independent history and culture of the Inner Mongolia region, the diversity of its history, a strong national character is a very valuable asset, the inheritance and development of great significance. Take our national hero Genghis Khan, he is a generation of people's minds the spiritual leader, spiritual objects of worship, spiritual and cultural aspects of his legendary characters, the war legend as well as the lifestyle of that era are worth understanding and study of unique cultural content. However, the existing space of Genghis Khan's Memorial has been unable to meet this requirement. Whether the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan, Genghis Khan Temple Memorial, are heavy, lack of scale and cultural show is still stuck in the exhibition hall of the glass cases, and there is no space level. For people who desperately want history exchange interaction, which can not ignore that kind of regret. Design development to this rich and diverse era, in the face of the display design of the memorial space has not only stay in a simple description of the law-abiding, along the wall displays and exhibits only a handful of digital. Show through some form so that visitors and this history of interactive, to see the scene of one of the exhibits had purpose, to increase the interest and participation, the memorial space to achieve a good education, and so on, these are designers should be aware of the problem, the cultural issues override technology design. Depth through all aspects of the design, I tried to explore the design culture and the ways and means of the design for the memorial space. Also trying to break out of the textbook, writing technology, but hope that the the height design attitude and macro questions, solve problems, to the designers to theoretical and ideological.
