Network virtual experiment for the college laboratory teaching is of great significance and application value . Current computer technology , virtual reality technology and the rapid development of network technology , to create a realistic three - dimensional experimental equipment and the environment , to achieve the complex experimental interactive features , remote access to experimental teaching resources to provide the necessary conditions . Mechanical disciplines course experiment , Virtual Experiments , build a virtual experimental system . The method uses VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language ) describe the mechanical disciplines virtual experiment equipment and scene , the VC program interaction and control of the user with a virtual experimental equipment and the scene . The key findings include: first , mechanical disciplines network virtual experiment system framework . The system uses a development of the VC ActiveX experimental controls embedded in the VRML description of the experimental scene , by VC and VRML data communication , virtual experimental feature . Second, the demand for the mechanical disciplines virtual experiments on bodies modeling and device simulation modeling capabilities of VRML was extended modeling method proposed building mechanical disciplines typical parts and institutions ; nested in VRML coordinate system multilayer sensor structure and script routing mechanism , establish a complex mechanism motion simulation model of the device . Third , lack of VRML control function , the VC program VRML scene auxiliary control , improved interactivity and controllability of virtual experimental scenes . Programming realized experimental data generation and management , meet experimental data verisimilitude ; software to realize the core functionality of the virtual devices , improved functional system of virtual experiments . Finally, select a course of interchangeability and technology measurement experiment for the object using the proposed method to build a network virtual experiment of the course , course experiments . In this paper, the combination of VC and VRML building mechanical disciplines virtual network experiments , can restore the actual experimental scene , highly interactive , more comprehensive interpretation of the actual experiment , college laboratory teaching resource sharing and remote education good prospect of application .
