Nowadays,the research of the application of short-range wireless communication technology and USB technology has become a hot spot with the rapid development of these two technology. On the one hand,wireless communication technology,compares with wired communication technology,is convenient,flexible and cost-effective; On the other hand,USB has a plug and play,hot-swappable,compact interface,saving system resources,reliability transmission,providing power,good compatibility,shared communication and low-cost advantages.This dissertation develop a general“Wireless USB Control System Based on the USB Mass Storage Class Device”by using short-range wireless communication technology and USB technology,and an application example of“Wireless USB Control for Wave Generation System”is designed to explain how to achieve the hardware and software.This "Wireless USB Control System" uses short-range wireless communication technology, combines with USB technology and PC-Host control software to achieve specific functions,and it can be easily applied to many occasions which require short-range wireless communication,such as the Home-Security Control System,the Port Anchorage Monitoring Systems,the Wireless Data Collection and Monitoring System,the Wireless Dish-Order System and so on. The controller of the system is designed to USB Mass Storage device class in order to eliminate the PC-side software driver and to facilitate the use of the system. The part of wireless communication adopt common international toll-free ISM band. And the PC-side control software is developed by Visual C++6.0. The system is cost-effective and has wide applications and easy to be redevelop. It has a very high cost performance.
