Industrial wireless communication is put forward in recent years, new industrial communications concept , only foreign WirelessHART-based product development and application , and there are no mature products . Existing wired HART instruments to access the wireless network , this paper designed HART wireless adapter used to upgrade traditional HART instrument , wireless communication . HART wireless adapter to take power from the 4-20mA loop power available to very limited , and therefore the power consumption is very sensitive . DC-DC Boost HART wireless adapter in the power section with a large capacitor to store electrical energy , the selection of low-power devices , MCU and wireless communication module using the sleep / wake mechanism the intermittent working to reduce power consumption . Wireless communication protocol using the physical layer and MAC layer of the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol , and the MAC layer design TDMA sub-layer , the time division multiplexing ( i.e. TDMA mechanism) . HART wireless adapter low power consumption of the subject of study , the design of the wireless HART adapter field instrument measurements and status information can be realized through a wireless network to the upper forwarding , the simulation loop current and the acquisition by the wired / wireless digital communication mode and outputs . The preliminary design of this topic HART wireless adapter has a very low power consumption , wireless communication using TDMA mechanism , not only effectively reduce the power consumption , but also to improve the real-time and reliability of wireless communication .
